I am thinking about that scene in Miracle On Ice when Herb Brooks has them on the line running yelling "Again" until they said the right thing...I see Bill Self doing the same thing when KU comes down the court and runs the high pick and roll
We need to clean-up the pick and roll defense without a doubt. But we can win this game.
I was thinking of a different scene in that movie. Brooks saying "if we played the Russians 10 times, they might win 9 times. But not tonight."

I've seen lesser ISU teams beat some great opponents in Hilton so it can happen. We basically have to play like we did against Alabama to even have a punchers chance. That means hitting at least 15 threes.
Yes, and KU is flawed when it comes to shooting 3s. Plus, Dok can’t shoot FTs. Jake should have an easier time at the 4 against them as well. I think we could win this one. I like how Nixon and Bolton have been playing lately.
Conference bottom feeders beat top conference teams every year. It can happen. To expect to it happen is foolish.

Yeah, they definitely struggle with knocking down 3s but they are still a top 15 offensive team.
I don't see how his time at the 4 will be any easier. He will either have to guard someone that is bigger and stronger than him when they play big and then will have to guard someone quicker than him when they play small.
