I'm watching the Knicks-Nuggets on my cable system (also on NBA TV right now) and Monte's first 4 offensive touches when he came in the game in the 1st quarter were 3 assists and a drawn foul. He's already at +8 at the end of the quarter.

The last time these 2 teams met, the Nuggets' bench was the difference and it is so far tonight.

And Monte ENDED the game with those 3 assists and 2 points on 1-6 shooting. Strange game - it looked like the Nuggets were going to run away with it but a big 3rd quarter for the Knicks made it close.

With T. Ferguson healthy again, Abdel Nader is back to his role coming off the bench. His first game back in that role wasn't great - he went 1-6 with two points.

In the first half of tonight's game, Nader went 2-2 with this nice finish with the left hand:

Last night, Nader finished with 7 points in 21 minutes off the bench (4-6 FG). He had the 2nd-most minutes off the bench in OKC's come-from-behind win vs. the Grizzlies.

Monte had another quiet one in Denver's win over the Magic. He played only 13 minutes, had 5 pts (2-4 shooting) with 4 assists and a turnover.

On Tuesday night, Georges was the 10th man and played only 4 minutes. He missed both his shots (both 3's) and had a -8. I THINK - not 100% sure - that the Jazz twice fouled guys in the act of shooting 3's during that stretch which would have contributed to that number.

Matt is still out with his finger injury and Deonte has not been recalled from the G League since his suspension. THT, Shayok and Naz have not dressed with the big club in their last few games and are toiling in the G League.

Last night Wiggy and the Iowa Wolves hosted OKC Blue and Deonte Burton. Lindell didn't start but played 22 minutes and had 18 pts on 7-15 shooting.

Deonte Burton did start but only had 6 pts on 2-10 shooting.

Abdel Nader didn't have big numbers but he's getting a lot of minutes. In tonight's win over the Suns, he played a solid 27 minutes. He was 1-5 FG with a 3 (total of 3 points) and 3 REB.

Deonte was back on the roster since being sent to their G League and got a couple mop-up minutes and a bucket. He also recorded this fascinating stat:

In G League showcase games, on Thursday, Marial Shayok continued to show well, with 22 points (but, perhaps, inspired by ISU's 2019-2020 squad, shot only 22% from 3).

The same night, Lindell came off the bench and shot 2-10 from the field (but ended with 11 pts) in 19 minutes (In a show of Big12 solidarity, Barry Brown also went 2-10 for Iowa). If we can assume that scouts go to the showcase, I'm sure he would have wanted a better outing.

For some reason, Naz didn't play for Fort Wayne that night.

Many more games on the slate for today in Vegas at the showcase.

Thursday, night, Georges got 16 MIN off the bench (2nd-most) and went 3-5 FG with 6 PTS (also had a -12).

He'll score every time with that sweet jump hook over a small guy but I'm not sure he wants to be branded as "dad bod" (check out Georges' embedded quote):

Friday night, Monte had a low-ish 14 MIN in the Nuggets' win over the T'wolves. He was 2-6 FG for 4 PTS, 3 AST and 0 TO (and a -8).
