Come on everyone is being too harsh here. I'm not gonna claim that ISU is rich with deep rooted and original traditions but Iowa has had so many of their great traditions and ideas stolen by other people. Just look at this list:

The Gator Chomp
The Pittsburgh Steelers' Jersey combination
The O-H-I-O chant (tOSU totally ripped them off).
Nike's basketball team warm up shirts (Team vs Everybody/The World)
Hayden Fry bringing the Forward Pass to the B1G (literally heard this from a call in on KXNO last week).
Large crowds turning on their cell phone lights during night games.

All of this reminds me of that time the Boston Red Sox stole "Sweet Caroline" from ISU... Honestly, when will it end?
