Season was not all terrible looking back at the early injuries and new players on the team. Made it to the NCAA tournament again. Won the conference title.

Frustrated with coaching and effort tonight. Still believe Prohm will improve the results for next season.

Last year at this time we were the worst in the league and it wasn't close. Losing like this is never fun, but I enjoyed the season.

It was pretty disappointing given the talent overall.

I think this was the bare minimum expectation so I guess we didn’t totally fail, but I wouldn’t give us higher than a C- for the season.

I’m sorta afraid to see how far we possibly fall next year.

A lot will depend on how the roster shakes out in the next 10 weeks. We need at least 1-2 more contributors. We also need to develop guys Haliburton and Conditt. They have high ceilings but we can’t have them regress like Cam Lard and Wigginton.

Did Wigginton regress or did he play high minutes on a ****** team last year?

He didn’t change his game, but he was a slightly better version. More improvement was hoped for, but it’s not too surprising he didn’t become an all-conference player.

It’s hard to say whether his defense regressed, as we were so poor last year.

That would be a better season than this one. Hard to think that will take place with what we lose.
What are we losing?
Shayok? Wigg??
Who else is leaving?
THT didnt even play in the 2nd half of our last 3 games..

Shayok and Babb for sure obviously. Talen still might receive love from the scouts even though his game isn’t polished yet. Maybe Lard? He can’t seem to stay out of trouble unless he’s going to be given a strike 4 I guess.

Not likely. Do you see Monte, Naz, Thomas, and Burton on next year’s roster?

By that logic, isu basketball is doomed when 3 NBA players on the same team can't even make a sweet 16...

We lose, maybe Wigg and/or lard(unlikely) going into next year.
If the team finishes closer to 3 conference wins than 10 then I'll be full on board with you to burn everything to the ground.

That’s a leap in logic, but again, we’re unlikely to have to worry about being doomed in such a way next year. Although, the collapse and Prohm losing the locker room will make the drop off less than it should be.

Perhaps next year we’ll figure out how to play ball screens, consistently box out, and all the other little things we were average at this year. Michigan got a lot better on defense once they added Yaklich to the staff.
