I'm bored and got to thinking about how good Shayok is and how the 4 guards/wings is working very well. Niang was incredible down the stretch... but there's not much I'm trading Shayok for at this point in time. Thoughts?

I think we may be better with Shayok, but would probably still trade him for Niang. Niang had such good performances in the tourney.

The thing about Shayok is how effortless he makes it all look. He doesn't really showboat. He just goes out there and does it. And that's both good and bad for him, I think. It makes some people sort of under-appreciate all he does. Niang, on the other hand, was gregarious and vocal. He clearly played with emotion, and fed on it. That's great too, but also has its downside.

It's a difficult question to answer.

I really love shayok but this one is easy for me. I will also take Georges 100 out of 100 times.

The different positions played make this an odd question for me. For the way this particular team runs and defends, Shayok feels like a better fit. Niang would be taking Jacobson's minutes.

This is tough. Niang is going to get more love because he was at ISU longer and his personality, but I'm not so sure I would rather have him over Shayok. Shayok's ability to defend could edge him out over Niang.

I like Shayok, but that's just not fair. Georges has a case to be one of the best players to ever be a part of our program, so of course I'd pick him

Ejim would kill it on this team. So would a guy like Hogue.

Hogue still holds such a wonderful place in my heart, if only because of the toothpick. I can't think of many more badass things a player can do than that... short of maybe jump kicking another player while going for a rebound...
