Notice there is no "or" after Montgomery. ;)

My Monday is now much better.

So is Montgomery 100% or just good enough to play again? It's pretty easy to understand the reports that he had nagging injuries before he sat out given the substitution patterns they had with him.

Seems to me that Olsen got man handled pretty badly in the first couple plays of the TCU game and then played better.

First time seeing the field against the quickest DL we faced to date, to be expected. As you mentioned, he rebounded quickly after the first few plays.

Olson is starting to live up to the descriptions commonly given to an undersized local walkon offensive linemen. Scrappy, tough, smart...
His lack of weight hurts some and he’ll get pushed back, but he’s got good enough feet from being a DL and a former wrestler to allow him to stay in from of guys imo. He may not have wanted to, but had he moved earlier I’m guessing we wouldn’t he may have started last year. Being a lifelong Cyclone fan is some times gives a walkon an edge in developing imo

I love the Kempt feint and hope he is back, of course.

But I bet that is one that WVU is not going to buy.

They are watching the OSU tape and preparing for Purdy.

I find that hard to believe since Mueller graded very highly in each complete game he started. Mueller graded a 78 against Iowa and OU. Not sure about Olson

Where do you get that info? From players in the room? I would love to have that info.

And frankly there are some issues with PFF. It’s interesting for sure but coaches laugh at how players graded out.

It’s better than a box score, but that’s about it.

I don’t have any issue with PFF and think it’s in general helpful, but that’s nearly an impossible task. The sheer amount of analysis, much of it being subjective, not to mention not knowing what coaches were asking for.
