Newest group on my list. My friend/former ISU roommate pointed me to this band earlier this year. Promising stuff, to my ears.

I was vaguely aware of the band, unsure if I had heard its music. I like that sample quite a bit. You motivated further exploration.
Nearly non-existent in U.S., but this song reached No. 1 on Australian chart. (Also, I think it's a fun band name).
Sick Puppies were the first Aussie group that came to mind that have had some stuff that I liked in the recent past. Saw them a couple times at Woolys in Des Moines in the 2013-14 time frame and they put on a good show. Hadn't heard much about them since; apparently they kicked out the lead singer a few years ago.

Folk group from Oz. First hit fame in US with "Geogie Girl". The female vocal is Judith Durham, one of the truly great female pop vocalists.
How is it possible that I did not know that Rick Springfield was from Australia?
Somebody't got to bring a little disco into this topic and since the band formed in Australia, I'll count them as Australian.
I can sing along to most of the songs by this band.
