Is this supposed to be evidence that Vick was a team cancer?
I think there is evidence out there that he makes a lot of bad decisions but I have no clue if he is a team cancer or not. I personally was shocked when he came back

If his foot doesn't heal it won't matter. How has dean wade not graduated yet, that's my take away from this thread.
Vick declared because he felt as need to take care of his child who is mom is currently taking care of. He realized he wasn't going to get the opportunities he thought he would get and pulled name from the draft. It appears that Self as hesitant to take him back because he told recruits that Vick was gone. However, Self held a team meeting and explained the situation and left it up to the team to decide if Vick could rejoin KU. It is probably the best move for him if he can get a degree. It will help his child more in the long run if he has a degree as opposed to playing overseas for a few years or in the G League.
How does this info relate to the quotes from Self a few posts ago? Is this the latest?
We have discussed this same information now multiple times so it is boring to me and I am sure to everyone else. I'll revisit it only if there is new information available.Self will do damn near anything to win. I see Maryland is under FBI scope now for DeSousa recruiting. How Ku escapes this is beyond me.

The guardian said the player favored Kansas and needed “another $20,000 payment” to “help get the student-athlete ‘out from under’ the deal." The indictment then alleged the player made a surprise commitment to Kansas on Aug. 30, 2017
100% accurate. Thank you. Vick is not a problem as a teammate at all. His presence on the team increases KU's shot at a deep run. If you have something to add regarding Lagerald Vick rejoining Kansas, feel free. I would love to discuss it. If you'd like to discuss the FBI investigation, feel free to start yet another thread on it so we can ignore it.6. The NCAA could suspend players who have been accused of wrongdoing and punish the offending schools. De Sousa and the Jayhawks coaching staff are no doubt aware how Louisville and the NCAA handled allegations against fellow five-star recruit Brian Bowen: Last fall the university suspended Bowen indefinitely and in May the NCAA ruled Bowen ineligible for the 2017-18 season. These moves led Bowen—whose family member is alleged to have accepted payment for him to play for the Cardinals—to turn pro (as SI’s Jeremy Woo notes, Bowen could play in the G League next season). If allegations against De Sousa are proven, he too could face NCAA discipline. Further, Kansas could eventually be found to have run afoul of NCAA rules.
