Wichita State continues its Big 12 barnstorming tour this afternoon in Stillwater (Next week: Norman). Last week they "Shocked" ( ) the Bears @ Baylor 69-62, and they will enter Moe Iba today fully intending to dominate the Pitsols buzzer to buzzer. Can the Cowboys rise to the occasion?

This has been a great weekend for conference RPI, so far, in case you haven't noticed. Last night, #20 TCU (Yes, that's #20!!) outlasted #22 Nevada in the Basketball Hall of Fame Classic. And Oklahoma upset #25 USC (A Pac-12 team is ranked??) on the road 85-83. Those were late evening games, and took a lot of grit.

Technicality but the OU over USC was a neuteal floor. Was played on the Lakers floor.

Cowboys led most of the 1H, but Wichita takes a 3 pt lead into the half, up 26-23.

Oklahoma state seems to have no rhythm on offense. Not certain how much of that is affected by WSU defense, though..

It didn't matter much, but was funny seeing the ref call a foul on OSU when the WSU guy fell on his own teammate.

Turned into a pretty good game though. Definitely has a big10 vibe to it offensively

ISU's chances for a tourney are likely slim but getting some sort of gauge on what the other conference teams look like doesn't hurt.

This is RPI season. Even if the Cylone men stuble a bit in January, Prohm's teams always improve in February, and again in March. If no bid is in the cards this year, in this league, there will be no lack of opportunity for a late run. Even the SEC challenge opponent, Tennessee, is ranked.

Yeah, I'm afraid so. And here I was thinking OkieSt might be the only team we sweep this year; now it's looking more like KSt. But it wouldn't surprise me if we don't sweep any.

If ok St is the bottom of the Big 12 it’s going to be a crazy conference season.
