I don't know..... Park hadn't looked very accurate the last few games (seems like he throws it high a lot) Kyle looks to be more accurate but less arm strength? Opinions?
Barnett's brain in Jantz's head would have gotten ISU a few more wins...
And Park will.
The key is the Oline; I'm not fully convinced Park is automatic W's. He throws the ball hard but also really high.
Kempt is fine. The way CMC is building this program it won't matter. It is a plug and play team system. You know, an actual legit program. We just haven't cleansed ourselves of the Rhoads program. I am not saying we are National Champions, but we should be competitive in games and have a chance to win.
Park threw for over 300 yards and completed 73% of his passes his second most recent start
Park is critical for ISU's success going forward. If Kempt fills that role this year, fine, but I think Park as our QB next year is key. The WR corp losses a lot. Having his skills and experience as a senior will pay dividends.
I think Park has a higher ceiling but I'm not 100% sure Park gives us the best opportunity to win. Kempt has done everything asked of him and today's conditions against a really crappy team didn't warrant trying to do much of anything in the passing game.
Lot of memory loss going on with Park. People seem to remember one bad game against a great defense, and forget that he's been really good in pretty much every other game he's played. Kempt had a couple balls today that could have been picked but weren't. He through 10 feet behind a wide open Trevor Ryan on one play and was lucky the safety didn't make a play on it. That was more inaccurate than any of Park's throws.
Winning 6 games would be disappointing at this point. That means finishing 2-4.
Exactly, it's getting pretty comical
Doesn't matter the defense is going to pitch shutouts from here on out

Next QB thread needs to be about the way that "Park's undisciplined hair affects his play."
I'd take it. TCU and Oklahoma State are very very good teams. Tech is solid as well. At very least finish 2 road games against Baylor and Kansas State hopefully. 6 wins would be a big jump with this team under Campbell.
It's called context..but you seem like a road scholar, so I'll just agree with you...

And then we go next level creepy in two ways:
1. A poll thread asking which QB would be your best friend.
2. People start tweeting QBs asking to be friends. Whichever one makes the most friends is the subject of a tweetstorm to Campbell demanding the new QB.
There is a reason that Kyle was not a starter throughout his college career. He clearly has weakness. But I like that he is calm, a good game manager and can make those occasionally hard throws. Park is more talented than him, but I think he gets to high and to low, which is not a good thing for a QB at ISU, who will have to face a lot of adversity and still keep calm. Hope the coach makes the right call for the situation. I also think it is good they have got Roland in the rotation.
