Good promo there by Owens.

I tuned in for the end of the Jinder match. He looked all right to me.
I don't watch much Smackdown, but he looked like he did the champ role well enough in the match.

He's okay in the ring. The problem is the gimmick has turned absolutely racist, especially towards Nakamura, which would be okay if it drew heat to him and was clever, but first, it's not clever (and wouldn't have been clever back in the Attitude Era), and second, it's drawing Vince heat, not Jinder. Want to know how bad Jinder's promos have been on SmackDown? It makes "Sufferin' Succotash" enjoyable.

That I didn't know. Ugh.

I did watch a Jinder interview a few weeks ago. That was um, not legendary.

Yeah. First, Mahal dropped a "Mr. Miyagi" blast on Nakamura. After that, he likes to mock the various emotional states of Nakamura, and then post the same constipated-looking Nakamura face on the Titantron and shout "and this was his face!". Not clever, not funny - neither now nor back in the Attitude Era.

Nice sequence of tight-pulling pins by both men, with Roode getting the win. Ziggler gets up immediately and hits him with a Zig Zag.

I was going to say, I don't know why the ref is bothering to pretend to chain the HIAC door shot - this is falls count anywhere.

Who would have thought that Shane, a part time (at best) wrestler, has one of the best shooting star presses in the business?

And that's one hell of a triangle choke.

This match is why I could never be a pro wrestler. I'm not ordinarily afraid of heights, but this would freak me out.
