Welp, guess I was wrong about Colin Sexton coming to Ames this weekend. Scheduled an official at NC State. Since I was wrong, I guess I should reveal that my source was Monte Morris at Cy's in mid-July.
For whatever reason, my daughter's seem to think Monte Morris with the goatee looks like LeBron James. Are you sure it wasn't LeBron James at Cy's?
I suppose one of our ex-asst.-coaches will tell him it is cold in Iowa in the winter. I hope our coaches let him know we play basketball indoors in Iowa. It's really kind of fun without wind and rain, like down south, and outdoors and all.
You should know not to trust anybody's sources unless they have nearly double digit sources.
Heck, I didn't even recognize NC $tate was on his list. Not liking that visit. We've lo$t recruit$ to NC$tate before and certainly not because they were a shoo-in tournament team. And that's not just hear$ay.
My guess is Sexton will take an official to Alabama the question will be who gets the final 2. I saw him quoted as he would like to visit Arizona. ISU is going to have to really fight to get him on campus. Hopefully Morris helps.
I really think Sexton will keep ISU on his list out of respect for Monte, but I don't think we're really in it.

He's not going to Nc state. I have a hunch he will come visit at least on an unofficial to hang out with monte. But if he doesn't I'm not gonna lose sleep over it or in any way shape or form concern myself with friggen north Carolina state. Esp when it's obvious he will end up at bama
I don't think Bama is a given. He got a ton of picks to Alabama early before he blew up and that was all because his dad had good things to say about their coach. I also wouldn't count out the ability of NC State to get top PG recruits. They currently have the top PG recruit in his class Dennis Smith and before that Cat Barber.
Just got a crystal ball for Stokes. A Lewis, Feazell, McNeill and Stokes class would leave us in great shape and we could just focus on finding that elite PG.
A vocal few ought to be eating some crow right about now, because Prohm and his assistants are doing a great job on the recruiting trail right now.
