I assume other than Dante we'll see the winners at VT? I love Dante's style but hope we don't have to give up on Meeks. I'd like to see him get a trial until Midlands just to see what happens.

I really wish we redshirted Meeks his Freshman year. It seems like it would have set him on a much better career path. Would love if both could wrestle this year.

Is it worriesome that Simmons, a true freshman, actually outwrestled Earl, or really exciting? Markus should have won that, but gassed.

Judoka- do you think Stetzel sees any time this season? Looked like he got off to a hot start last night.

Does anyone of the scores they can post?

125: Boston over Larson 7-3; Boston hit a 5 pt shin whizzer tilt, then kind of cruised after that
133: Hall over Simmons 8-7; Hall needed a late rally to get this one, and basically because Simmons gassed
141: Rodriguez pinned Meeks
149: Briceno pinned Stetzel; Stetzel did come out strong to lead 4-0 early
157: Breitenbach over Rodriguez-Spencer 2-1 in double OT SV
165: Weatherman pinned Jentz
174: Weatherspoon over Paulsen 10-5
184: Pestano over Treague; didn't see score, but was a MD
197: Harrington over Egli 11-5
HWT: Smith over Scanlan 5-1

I bet we take as many guys as possible to Midlands but unless Gabe gets hurt I doubt we see anybody else at 149 in duals once he comes off suspension.

I'm hearing that Simmons puts it on Hall in the practice room, so the result doesn't surprise me. If Simmons hadn't tried to hold onto the lead, he wins that match.
