Basically all of Iowa is in the blue area on that coverage map. If it was just an Iowa game or just an ISU game I could see not switching over until the baseball game finished. But any Fox station in Iowa would be stupid not to switch over, like half the TV sets in the state will be tuned to them to watch football.

It's funny you think that they would switch it in the middle of a game. Not a chance this happens in areas where the game is being shown.

Alright, we'll see. I think it's funny you think Fox affiliates in Iowa are going to show the end of a meaningless regular season Cards-Reds games, instead of switching to the Fox game of the week in-state rivalry, but to each their own.

I just hope they give local affiliates the option. They may or may not.

KDSM Fox 17 (DSM affiliate) on their web site says 1:00 Cardinals Baseball, 3:00 ISU-Iowa Pre-Game, 3:30 the game. Hope they hold to that.\
? Or
Wondering if pre-empive feedback would do any good? kdsm17.com

Cards-Reds makeup is now finished. The full game first pitch should be around 12:40 Central. A three-hour baseball game would mean fans in Iowa would miss most of the pregame but would still catch kickoff on FOX. Hope for a pitchers' duel and no extra innings.

As long as they put it on Fox sports 1. I will have to join the sea of crazys and find a way to annoy FOX if they screw my football game up.

I'm going to have to miss the first half-hour or so due to a kid's soccer game. Can someone post if they start the game on an alternate channel (or tweet me @jwd42) so I can change the channel on my DVR from my phone?

It will be a thumping, even if the Cardinals play their bench. Reds suck.

Cardinals-Reds are supposed to play at noon on FOX. Issue is that last nights suspended game starts at 11:30 (tied in the 8th) with the full game starting 40 minutes after it's conclusion. It doesn't matter for me since I will be at the game, but am wondering how this will impact the coverage of today's game. Will they cut to our game or wait until Cards-Reds is done. If they wait, there will be a lot of unhappy people.

Hmm, my tv info says the cardinals are supposed to be on but I have Yanks-Jays instead. So hopefully they finish before kickoff.

I'm worried about Kansas City, i don't see them switching to the game. And the royals game looks to be in a rain delay.

For the WI folks...the Yankees game is in the 3rd, so it may end on time.

Maybe they'll start the ISU/IA game early.

I'm assuming I should start looking for an online stream? The Cardinal game being delayed is not good. I'm sure Fox will cover that game in its entirety before they ever switch to the FB game.
