Noskowiak not going on Spain trip

Carter & Noskowiak are the only 2 who for sure are not going. Not sure about Ernst.
My guess is something to do with his father. If I remember correctly(could be wrong) his dad has some issues with addiction.
I'm assuming you're talking about Ernst? Either way, the more the merrier to get acclimated with the team/staff, and because it's a great opportunity that most never get.
I don't think this kind of speculation is helpful at all. Regardless of what may have happened with his father in the past, there is no reason to assume this has anything to do with that. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't, but it is NN's private business until he chooses to share details.

Glad Hines included this last line, the speculation on this board would have been rampant otherwise (let alone Hines Twitter feed).
Unfortunate that Nick can't make the trip, rightfully so, taking care of the family responsibilities takes priority. Looking forward to seeing him in Cardinal and Gold in the fall.
When he missed time last year his dad first reported his son was depressed and seeking treatment. Later Nick said "I wasn't ever depressed or never sought treatment for depression... I had to get out of an abusive household and father."
Just stuff that was in newspaper articles. Sounds kinda ****ed up and hope our guy can get it resolved and take care of himself.
Ernst going, not playing. Babb not going, sitting out.

Sure my first sentence was speculation but he had a rough upbringing do to a poor relationship with his father...he has said as much. I was simply saying something that I was almost positive I had heard. Which is why I also said I could be wrong. If people feel that it was wrong, that is fine and I am fine with it being deleted if the mods feel as though my post was wrong in any way. That being said I don't believe I crossed any lines with my comment.
What a perfect year to be a walk-on. They get to travel to Spain and will have an opportunity to play ina few games with the starters.
6 scholarship players and 3 walkons. Ashton shoots like a scholarship player so that helps. Fred has rolled 7 deep before but all 8 will play in these meaningless games.
