50-50. I'd say ISU & Oregon are on equal footing. The key though is keeping him from taking that Oregon visit. Right now, ISU has the advantage I'd say because he's been here.

If he commits before the Coaching change in Manhattan I feel like we would have a shot, but if Underwood gets there before he has committed, then he should go KSU.

I agree. As fans of another Big12 school we can see the sh*tstorm that is going on down there. But if he has grown up a KSU fan and has always dreamed of playing for them, it is tough to get that out of a kids mind. I hope that is not the case, but there has to be a reason why KSU is so high up on his list, and I am assuming with limited knowledge that is why.

He has to sit out this year but is still on scholarship. This is essentially his redshirt year.

KSU recruits right now probably don't have other high major options or have an EMAW tattoo somewhere on their body.

Don't know enough about Horne to say if he is in those two categories.

Fandom run deep. If it is you dream to play at a school some kids jump on it no matter who the coach is. Iowa has done a nice job the last 25 years of getting lifelong fans of their school to play for them.

But do we know if he's a fan? Or is it just that K-State was his first major offer? The latter is much easier to overcome than if he's a super fan.

With that said, Romello White's videos look great. He would be an instant high impact post player.

Until he sees them win 10 games total this year and fire their coach .......then hopefully not get Underwood there.

Putting our name on Thon Maker's offer sheet when you think you're likely to have a nice AP rank next to your name all season is smart regardless of how little the shot. Assuming we don't commit 100s of hours of resources into him.

It only helped our profile that we were on Vaughn's list for years as the program was winning. The hours spent recruiting him are up for debate.
