I forget who it was, but someone many years ago (20 or so?) used a LB to return kicks. He was one of the top kick returners in the country, too, if I remember right. I'm thinking it was at a MAC-type conference school, but my memory is a little foggy on that. UNLV maybe?

i agree. Wish they would have brought in a juco this year. Btw I still think that maddison eventually ends up at de.
I think LB is the perfect fit for Justin Webster. My only problem I had with AJ Klein and Jake Knott were that they were not as mobile as I would had hope they would have been. In a few years, I can see he and Sam Seonbuchner going in on 3rd down to cover receivers and rush the Quarterback.
I think Madison could be a fun piece for Wally to use. He has the frame and athleticism to be a rush end/LBer and move around. We have seen Wally do much in the way of moving guys around but he's someone I think you can do that with.
Anyone heard about how he'll be used, or if he'll play with his switch to running back? Seems like a guy who could take over Woody's role, but with way better speed.
They have other guys for that. His frame is needed elsewhere.
Also, am I the only one who just figures a player is leaving whenever a thread like this is resurrected?
Switched right before the spring game. He was a linebacker before. Guy has pretty good athleticism, if used correctly he'll offer a change of pace at the running back position in the future.
