We didn't burn any bridges with him that I know about. One tweet about how mad a guy is at himself isn't going to change much.

Matt A basically ruined the hype around his announcement. Who knows I guess, he did tweet about Kane during the UNC game.

This was my first thought, as well. Would you consider USF an upgrade over Rice's current situation at UNLV? Obviously Findley Prep and the Las Vegas allure has allowed him to pull in an amazing recruiting class for 2014-15. Why would he abandon that?! It makes little sense unless he has a feeling that an NCAA investigation is looming that could handicap the future of his current Rebel program (pun intended).

I agree. He has a top 5 recruiting class, last I saw. Plus some talent returning. I think it getting out of town ahead of the posse.

Did Vaughn sign his LOI already? I guess the question I have is if UNLV can put a restriction on Vaughn not going to USF? If kids have signed with USF already and the scholarships are full is there anything Rice can do but discourage the new recruits to go look elsewhere since they would likely be released of their LOI as well?

This will be interesting. In the end, like most of you stated, there will either be a raise or a sanction.

I don't believe you can sign your LOI until the signing period in April.

Shaka Smart turned down UCLA last year and Marquette this year already. Why would he leave for UNLV?
