Due to a somewhat annoying design flaw on my Nissan Altima, the rear quarter panels flare out enough in front of the rear wheels that the edges catch rocks/debris flung up by the front tires. This leads to annoying amount of rock chipping that you can't keep up with using touch-up.
I haven't been able to find it, but is anyone aware of a place that sells colored adhesive protectant film that could be applied over these locations? I've seen the clear stuff, but I'd like to avoid having to repaint first. The body shop people I've talked to want to repaint the entire panel, so I'd rather just apply a colored protectant film over the area that somewhat matches my paint.
