If you don't have any, get some high quality socks, maybe a couple pairs. Also, don't be afraid to hop in the vehicle for a bit and get the toes warm before trekking into the game.

Chili.

On a side note, I saw something cool at Scheels this weekend....heated sole inserts..they were about $120, but may be worth the investment if you hunt or have lots of cold games to go to. ThermaCELL® Heated Insoles : Cabela's

I wish I remembered the brand but we have one of those two burner things that attaches to the tank and just a little bit of wind always stops it from working. We're constantly having to restart it. Although when it works, it puts out some serious heat.

Just a warning. DON'T GO NEAR THE BURNER OR THE BACK OF THE BURNER. I have an old columbia ski jacket that just got fried by it touching the back of the burner accidentally. Put it somewhere where no one will walk by it.

Here is ours from a few years back. We also have a rule that the last game the woman never attend because all they do is complain about how cold it is. I think we actually used an electric heater last year but it's a gas hog on the generator.

Another thing I just thought about. This is the first game in a long time that people will be tailgating in the dark so bring a light.

Tents with 3-4 sides, and then put a tall outdoor heater inside... you will stay toasty the entire time.. Nothing else required, but clothing, and your drink of choice.

I bet this catches a lot of people off guard. Sun sets before 5, game kicks at 7? Yeah, going to be a lot of people tailgating in the dark or by cell phone.

For cold weather games, go with a stocking hat and a bottle of Crown. Not only does Crown make you warmer, it makes you smarter, tougher, and funnier too. At least that is what I have found.

Yeah, I hadn't really been thinking about it because it has been so long since we had a night game. And probably years since we have had one after the clocks are changed.
