There could be at least 5,500 little ones at every game! That's pretty amazing!!

Now what does one take for the younger ones? Or what to think of to bring besides the obvious water and diapers

We usually bring a (drawstring) backpack with water, snacks, some books/small toys and wipes/hand sanitizer. We also carry in an old quilt/blanket on which to sit. My oldest is to the point where he'll pay some attention to the game, but the other two are still in the crazy running around phase.

Boy, I'm glad we picked up a JCC membership for my youngest on Sunday. I'd gotten the older two their memberships earlier in the summer, but was holding off on #3 because he turns 2 halfway through the season and we didn't know how many games we'd get to.

At what age would you say it pays to try and get a Jr. Cyclone Club membership for your kids? I held off this year because our son (15 months) would still just sit on our laps if we take him with, and will probably just end up at the grandparents for most of the games this year. I could see next year potentially being a different story, however.

Great news.

I was a child in the 80s when in the state of Iowa, all you heard about was Eastern Iowa U....LOVE that we have thousands of kids wearing clone gear. The tides are shifting!

What would be kinda cool to do (which maybe they do?) is run the Jr Cyclone Club membership through the ISU student records in 5-10 years to see how many come to ISU as students.

Kids aged 2 and above require a ticket, so even if you go to 1-2 FB games, and maybe some WBB/other events its worth the $50 for the membership.

Just don't expect to actually get to watch any of the game until they're 6-7 years old. Or do what my husband does - leave me to watch the kids on the hillsides while he goes and sits in the actual seats.

I got one for my almost 4 year old daughter this year. As of right now I'm only planning on bringing her to the game she can go down on the field for (not sure which one that is yet). I'll just have her sit in the stands with us and hold her for most of the time. No way I'm sitting in the grass.

Is it 2 years old that you have to have a ticket for them? Whatever that age is I'd say is a good time to start getting the Jr. Cyclone Club deal, for $50 even if you just use it for a couple football games and maybe a women's basketball game or 2 you've basically got your money's worth.

Children over 2 are suppose to have a ticket to get in so I would say next year. Our kid is 21 months so we haven't had to worry about that yet either.

I have 2 seats, so my wife and I each take one kid and then alternate quarters between the seats and the hillsides. It does make watching the games tough, but the kids absolutely love it.

Yea, I had to pretend to be disappointed that all the night games to start the year meant we probably couldn't bring MNCySon to the games. Next year will definitely take some thinking about how we want to handle things.
