Our mods truly are a special group of people. They deserve as many cases of Natty Lite as Seneca Wallace can bring them for the job they do.

That is like a Cyclone mixed metaphor.
Question: Do you mods ever consult with each other before taking action? Or do you just blow the whistle and make the call based on your own judgment? It seems that you all have quite a bit of authority and autonomy.

Unless something is incredibly egregious, most things go through committee. We usually like to have a few votes on something before acting. However, there are some judgment calls we have to make at the time due to time constraints.

They have their own mod forum section where they do their plotting and scheming.
Occasionally in the past, I noticed that it takes some time for posts to show up (or I see that there is another page, but I can't open it). Do you ever use a filter for a thread whereby posts can't show up until they are approved by a mod? Seems like a good way to keep a volatile discussion from going over the top.
Is today!
For real - I'm not sure if you've noticed but over the last month or so, the amount of spam we've been seeing on this site has been insane.
I've been forced to tweak a few things on the site and as a result, it is a lot more work/time for the mods. These people volunteer their time to make this the best damn fan site on the Internet. CF would not be CF without our moderators so today, Wednesday, April 10 2013, I declare as Moderators Are Awesome Day at CycloneFanatic.com.
Please show your appreciation here!
Thanks for never banning me mods and for keeping the quality of this site FAR above our Eastern competitors.
