I have an ESPN 3 account and have not used for a while. I see the game is listed tonight but I do not see Mediacom on their list of providers. Is ESPN operational through Medicom internet?

Also, if you want to complain to KFXA (Ch 28 FOx in Waterloo) for choosing American Idol over ISU here is their email. [email protected]

It looks like this will be the case on all Wednesday games.

Mediacom was an approved provider at one point in time, but they have since been dropped. I think they've been off the list for about a year or more.

While you're at it, ask the layabouts at KFXA why they can't put the weeknight games on 28.2, instead of their usual country music videos. I mean, seriously, wouldn't that be an excellent use of their subchannel? KCRG uses both 9.2 and 9.3 for all kinds of local interest live programming. There's no good reason why KFXA couldn't do the same ... except they don't appear to care.

I'm not sure where you are getting your information, but you are definitely incorrect. Here is the list off of ESPN3's website of internet providers who have access and Mediacom is still on it:

ESPN3.com FAQ

I also have Mediacom internet and I've been using ESPN3 weekly for the past 4 years. Trust me, it still works with them. In fact, ESPN3 is the only reason I have Mediacom internet. You can always test it yourself too. Just go to ESPN3, bring up the replays and see if one works for you to watch it.

One thing the original poster might have been confused by is that last fall they started drastically constricting the amount of content which can be seen by people with ESPN3 access. For instance, you used to be able to watch nearly every sporting event on ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU with ESPN3 access. Now, you can only watch ESPN3 exclusive content, and ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU events that are broadcasted locally before 6 pm on weekdays and before 11:00 am on weekends. You need WatchESPN access (which barely anyone has) to watch everything. This ISU/OKST game falls into the ESPN3 exclusive content, which everyone with access can watch. Also, something which goes missed a lot is that ALL replays can be watched on their website with ESPN3 access and replays usually get posted pretty quickly after the game.

sorry, not used to the streaming game. Usually have cable, but just recently moved

firstrowsports.eu
atdhe.eu
wiziwig.eu
vipbox.tv
espn3

about 85% of ISU's games can be found on one of these sites. just go to one of these (firstrow seems to be most reliable), click basketball and scroll until you see the game. these sites are essentially all the same in how they operate. you will get bombarded with pop-up ads every single time you click your mouse. i always minimize my open window so it is easier to X-out of pop-ups. don't download any plugins that they say you need. you don't need them. don't click "download" don't click "play" or "play now" don't click "watch in hd". The game will be streaming behind all of these temptations.

you will have to x-out of about 5 ads each time you try and watch a stream. be patient and look for little x's a few seconds after opening the window. they will eventually come up and you can remove the ads from the front of the screen. some may take as much as 15 seconds before an x or "close" button appears. some ads will have false x's to trick you into clicking on their garbage link. look for a smaller x on any given ad. once all ads have been removed, the game will come on. watch it full screen or pop up ads will continue.

every now and then a game will be posted with only one link which doesn't work. you are s.o.l. in that situation. often times the games aren't linked up until right at tip off or shortly after so don't expect to watch pregame.

some claim these sites are full of viruses. i used a mac for 1.5 years and have now had a pc for a year and haven't caught anything so far.

If you feel you must send an email, do it anonymously, you don't want that level of ineptitude in business sense attached to your name.

I'm in Colorado (no local tv for me). Firstrow has been completely unreliable for "Big 12 Network" games. I wish there was a poster here who had some nuts and would stream for us. The game against purple ku, I was able to go to a bar and find the game on the Altitude network.

Does anyone know if I'll be able to get the game again if I go to a bar with the Directv sportpak?
