Flashing a custom ROM on an Android phone

Finally doing this today! Hoping to increase performance on my Incredible. I'm trying out the ROM you listed above as the first go.

What others would be recommended and why?

Also, have others used Kernels?

Custom ROMs usually have a different kernel too. But, I updated to Lou's #9 (Incredibly Re-engineered has #8 now, I think). Supposed so speed it up but I haven't noticed any change.

A couple other ROMs I've tried and somewhat liked are SkyRaider and CyanogenMod.

Lookout and Astro both work for me. Try rebooting again.

Just a regular reboot, or a full reflash of the rom

I tried regular with no luck. Force close on everything.

No, just reboot. Did you do a wipe before you flashed the rom?

I think I did yes. I could give it another go...

I do like the rom, but unfortunate on the apps

Ok, fixed it. Ran debug with the Rom Manager and everything is back to normal, mostly.
