The key for Iowa will be to avoid giving up bonus points in the matches they're underdogs. Penn State looks awfully tough

Both are young teams, this should be a good rivalry over the next few years

I wish Penn State wasn't so good while we are having a down year.

I still hope that Iowa gets crushed. Has Cael beaten Iowa yet?

He could end up wrestling Tyler Clark, although Ramos went last night vs. Northwestern. I think only basketball and football have the one year sit-out after transferring, but I could be wrong.

Was wondering the same thing.

Also, has Iowa broken the dual team most consecutive win record yet?

Well considering they didn't beat OSU, they are working on the most consecutive non-losing record. Not sure what the record is though.

I didn't know how they would do that since they tied OSU. If they set the record for the non-losing streak they need to put an as-tricks next to the record because they didn't participate in the national duals.

Not agreeing that there should be an asterisk, but when you are the best team in the nation and undefeated for 3 years, and you turn down an invite to a tourney because you don't want to lose - thats a little weak IMO. Saying that your team wasn't ready was a pretty good smokescreen.

Penn State has only one senior...wow that's a young loaded lineup, and that's without the other Alton brother, who's redshirting. Cael could be on to something special already over there

Long vs. Clark...the battle of ISU transfers. I don't know if I've ever seen a match between two guys who used to wrestle for the same school but then both transferred

Ramos is Iowa's 133 pounder and he beat Long today.

Iowa knocks off top rated PSU 22-13. LMAO.

I am appreciative of what Cael did for us as a wrestler, and was happy about some of the wrestlers he brought in to wrestle for us, even though I thought we were too tentative to ever win the big duals and matches that counted...but I gotta say I'm not sad about this.
