My plan for the day...

I am leaving Urbandale here in like 10 minutes for Ames where I'll be working on this story for you guys all day long.

I will be posting updates HERE all day long. Also, if you're not a subscriber to my Twitter feeds @ChrisMWilliams and @CycloneFanatic, this would be a good day to start.

Also, I am filling in for Matt Perrault and Ken Miller from 4-7 today on Des Moines Sports Station 1460 KXNO. We'll talk about this story for three straight hours this afternoon. I'm sure that we'll have a lot more information at 4 than we do now.

I have to say...today is a great day for Matt to be on Vacation. No offense to him, but I want this story from a cyclone/ state of iowa perspective right now. Not a Creighton bias.
 
i think that this should be a an everyday thread... jsut so we can all get a little bit more creepy and know exactly what you are doing all day every day

It'll be nice to get the scoop from Chris and not the DM outlets that will spin this as ISU shame.

Not the case at all. Keep checking out the front page. The only reason I'll utilize Twitter a lot today is because I can do it easily from my phone. I can't update the site from my phone. Just trying to give you all as much information as possible.

we are on the threshold of better things for ISU.....and riddance to one of the worst coaches in our history.
 
I assume these are updates on the aftermath of the debauchery that took place in KC over the weekend. Best of luck with those test results.
 
Just so you guys know here is MY plan for the day:

I will likely do next to nothing productive today while I stay glued to Cyclone Fanatic looking for some bit of information confirming McD has officially signed with Creigton, or to find out if anyone miraculously has insight on JP's short list.

Once I see the information on the short list I will proceed to hate on a couple selections on it and fall in love with the idea of a couple other potential coaches. 2-4 days from now I will find out that our new coach wasn't even on that list and I waisted an entire Monday staring at Cyclone Fanatic for what ended up being next to nothing for information. And some of the most entertaining speculation since the Chiz search.

Yes... as soon as I heard the news this morning I knew Chris would be a dead man. I mean... a guy can only do so many interviews, site updates, twitter posts, hosting radio shows, etc.... That being said... This is a GREAT day to be a Cyclone!!!!!!!!!

That is incorrect. He ran a clean program and had a good image. He did not have Alford hair, but he had pink tennies. He tried, but his heart is in the MVC and their style of ball. He just did not do as well as I did with a bare cupboard.
