On That Note: Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes

Welcome back to "On That Note," a CF music series hosted by @MeanDean , @cyclones500 and me.

This week our topic involves parts of the body. We are looking for songs that in the title or lyrics mention a part of the body. For this topic we are just looking at physical body part examples so NO mind, soul etc are to be included.

Also the part of the body in the lyrics or title must stand alone on its own. No footloose, heartache, heartbreak etc. are allowed either.

Also no artists or bands with a body part name i.e. Talking Heads, Heart etc.

Last Week's Topic: Word

Josh Lenz Podcast

I listened to a podcast with Josh Lenz today and here were my takeaways:

- Reminiscing about the Paul Rhoads era feels like a lifetime ago even though it wasn't
- I was all in on Paul Rhoads after the Nebraska and Oklahoma State wins
- Josh Lenz ran a 4.34!?! I remember he was fast but I don't remember him being THAT fast
- Lenz spent 3 NFL seasons on the practice squad and never suited for a game (although he was active for the AFC Title game against the Patriots)

ISU paint colors

My wife has granted me permission to paint my man cave and I am trying to go ISU colors. Has anyone else done this and if so do you have to color codes for the correct shades? My painter uses Sherwin Williams so I am looking for those paint color codes.

Also would you do 3 walls cardinal 1 wall gold or 3 walls gold 1 wall cardinal?
I'm leaning towards 3 cardinal 1 gold and putting tv on the gold wall.

Drunk Driving and Fake Science

I thought this story was interesting and also very relevant to this audiance. I know we like to have a few Busch Lattes (or are they out now?) and I know you all don't live in Ames.

Original large NYT article. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/11/03/...tion=click&module=Top Stories&pgtype=Homepage

So it’s actually mind blowing – or maybe once you hear this it will seem incredibly obvious – that the New York Times has published a massive investigation that shows that the science behind the breathalyzer is bogus. Tens of thousands of arrests have been wrong. Cases are being thrown out around the country. The company that makes the machines for the police stations won’t share its technology or submit to a serious scientific review of its technology.

This is a classic case of the dangers of scientism in the service of state-based justice. Put on the lab coat, sell the government a fancy machine, harass people with unending intimidation, and the result is vast injustice based on bad science. Citizens themselves have no recourse. This has been going on for decades in the United States and yet we are only now finding out about it.
