RADIO RECAP: No. 8 Iowa State blasts Kansas State, 95-61, in historic road win

All time TJ team?

Starters: Lipsey, Momcilivic, and Jefferson obviously. Either Buchanan or Hasan Ward at center and Gilbert or Brockington at SG. Off the bench I think we gotta have Curtis jones, Kunc, Bob Jones, Heise, Kalscheur, and unfortunately Tyrese Hunter. Last two spots for a 15 man roster would probably go to Tre king and Caleb Grill unless I'm forgetting someone.

Twister Sister Summary - Adjusting a Shot

We’ve all seen players who are exceptional shooters from deep. We’ve also seen players struggle. What can be done during the season?

No. 8 ISU's backups are rising up in advance of Sunday's game at K-State

Twister Sister Summary - Sisters Win Ugly

Here is my advice to you if you recorded or saved the broadcast of this game. Delete it. This was an ugly game that still netted a win. That's the bottom line.

Arianna Jackson's heroics "won the game" for ISU in Saturday's 65-52 slog past UCF

What is it with this schedule?

I'm yelling at a cloud but I hate this. We played Thursday. We aren't playing today. We don't play again until next Saturday.

I really miss the cadence from back in the Big 8. Conference season meant Saturday-Wednesday, Saturday-Wednesday rinse repeat. Maybe a Big Monday a couple times a season.

I hate the term "media partners." Their never ending search for more revenue ironically has resulted in me watching their product less.

I hope the cloud's ears hurt.

Athletic Dept deficits

If OU has a deficit like this, what must it be like at other institutions who are paying out the nose to be competitive? Iowa is carrying a 230 million deficit but at least is generating profit the past couple of years. ISU is working with an annual 25 million deficit. How long can athletic departments maintain these losses? Reminds me of what bankrupted the USSR in the arms race.

The Beat Reporters: The Cyclone Men Dominate Colorado, The Women Make a Statement

Rob Gray, Ben Hutchens, and Jake Brend react to Iowa State’s third-straight dominating win over Colorado on Thursday night, discussing key performances from freshmen Jamarion Batemon and Dominykas Pleta. The boys recap Bill Fennelly’s squad’s massive win in Lubbock and how they’ve gotten back on track. The three close with a lookahead to Sunday’s game against Jerome Tang and Kansas State. Presented by Kelderman Manufacturing.
