What is it with this schedule?

I'm yelling at a cloud but I hate this. We played Thursday. We aren't playing today. We don't play again until next Saturday.

I really miss the cadence from back in the Big 8. Conference season meant Saturday-Wednesday, Saturday-Wednesday rinse repeat. Maybe a Big Monday a couple times a season.

I hate the term "media partners." Their never ending search for more revenue ironically has resulted in me watching their product less.

I hope the cloud's ears hurt.

The schedule is goofy. Game tomorrow (when’s the last time ISU had a Sunday conference game?) and then nothing until next Saturday. But ISU always has had an open week or two during conference play.

Old man tries to yell at the clouds and even manages to do that incorrectly.

Women play today, Men play tomorrow. Celebrate the fact we get Cyclone basketball on two days this weekend, instead of just one.

Super Bowl Sunday 2006 against Colorado was the last Sunday conference game.
Good find!

ISU won that, 96-79. CU was ranked #25 at the time.

Arguably, Morgan's final good win.

Season unraveled thereafter, finished 2-7. That included a home loss to Nebraska, blowing a significant lead in final minute at OU, and losing to probation-period Baylor by 18 points.

Have a nice day, everyone. :)

I know we play tomorrow. Bad editing of my initial post. I had tomorrow’s game listed but somehow I removed it before submitting the post.

Try again...we play this Sunday.

No time to check all schedules, of course, but Big 12 seems to have a league game on almost every day of the week this season. The Friday & Sunday slots are unprecedented for the most part, I'm sure trying to get viewership, good time slots (some that don't compete with other P5s) and "leverage" using multiple media providers. That's a "general" assessment/guess.
