I know that we're all feeling down, but I did want to try and think about some positives.

Tyler Perkins was awesome at holding the ball for Kyle K. He fielded a couple of ground ball snaps today.
Will McLaughlin had 2 sacks in the 1st half. The first sack helped lead to a punt and the 2nd sack kept BYU to a field goal. Not sure I saw him in the 2nd half.
#25 (Josh Patterson) who I have never seen on the field before and is not on the depth chart, but he had a nice PBU on BYU's #11 that kept BYU to a FG.
Abu Sama looks like he keeps getting better. I don't know RB stuff, but it looks like he is starting to make the right cuts/reads vs trying to bounce everything outside.
Carson Hanson looked good. Glad to have him back.
Ben Brahmer is incredible. I think TEs in general are amazing.
Kyle K is back which is great.

Anyone else check out the new Kathryn Bigelow movie A House of Dynamite on Netflix? Reviews are really strong and been waiting for it to drop. We watched it last night. It's good, but not great I guess? The first 35 minutes or so are ******* intense and fantastic. The rest is pretty meh and the ending will piss people off I think. Definitely worth watching, don't get me wrong. But it was hyped as a big awards movie and I don't see that at all.

One of several strange calls was the facemask on the goal line with everybody watching that was neither called a facemask or pass interference. Not uncommon for us to get robbed on the road but this was at home with a sold out stadium.

Minus our place kicker who is really good. Who coaches our special teams. It’s dreadful. We don’t let outr kick return guys to return kickoffs, our guys seemed lost. Long snapper for place kickers had two terrible snaps. Luckily the place kick holder guy scooped it up and got the ball down. Like what is going on.

So sick and tired of these 3-man rush defenses that get 0 pressure. The most upsetting part is that it is correctable. It's all scheme, not personnel. Heacock's refusal to change is maddening. Great year ruined by this terrible base defense.

If you haven't been, and you like IPA's, this place is a must go. At least one is an ISU grad. They had an delicious ipa called Trice 2025, a lot of ISU memorabilia in the Taproom, and everything I had was great. My wife drank a stout that was also great. Best in Omaha by a mile.
