Haliburton: Not sayin' just sayin'

Tyrese for Big 12 POY? Doesn't seem impossible if he can keep up this production, which will undoubtedly go down some but he's pretty historic right now.

At this point he is

#5 in PPG: 16.1
#1 in APG: 8.6 (next 6.9)
#1 in SPG: 3.0
#5 in PER: 28.9
#1 in Win Shares: 1.8

Only four PG's have won in the history of the Big 12, Tinsley, Marcus Smart, Frank Mason, and Devonte Graham. their #'s?

Tinsley: 14.3 PPG, 6 APG, 2.5 SPG
Smart: 15.4 PPG, 4.2 APG, and 3.0 SPG
Mason: 20.9 PPG, 5.2 APG, 1.3 SPG
Graham: 17.3 PPG, 7.2 APG, 1.6 SPG

Now, I understand it's a long shot. We won't win as much as those Kansas teams. Historically, PG's don't win it, but TH is putting up some pretty insane #'s right now. He's got a better chance of being Pierre Jackson, putting up crazy #'s and not winning it. Just want to put in perspective his performance so far.

PS4 or XBox??

I know I am probably asking a question that will get both responses...but my kids want another gaming system for Christmas. We have Switch and it is fun...but we are looking at adding either a PS4 or an XBox. My oldest is 8 years old...they aren't too serious of gamers but they like to have fun with the sports types games. So...any suggestions as to which gaming system is better or maybe more suitable for a family that doesn't have teenagers yet? PS4 or XBox?

Truck Bed Liners

Picked up a new truck the other day and I’ve been doing a little research on bed liners, but not sure what I really want to do. Seems there are plenty of pros and cons for any option.

I’ve narrowed it down, I think, to spraying the liner or a mat system.

Any thoughts from the good folks on CF?

Some thoughts on the bowl destination...

Ok full disclosure: I don't know anything. Nobody does.

However, with Oklahoma likely doing to the Playoff, Iowa State (and every other Big 12 team) will move up in the bowl game pecking order.

We knew this was a possibility heading into the weekend but even with that, the information we had gotten pointed towards Memphis, Houston or Phoenix. Jamie Pollard has gone on the record with this.

I'm just speculating here but am not 100 percent it's that simple. From what I understand, the Camping World Bowl vs. Notre Dam could still very much be in play.

Texas will end up in the Alamo. Oklahoma State went to Orlando two years ago.

So it's Iowa State or Kansas State, another fan base that traditionally travels very well.

But is it really a slam dunk that Orlando will take K-State over ISU? Or is JP attempting to keep expectations low for the fan base that surely won't be crazy about going back to Memphis?

It's certainly possible. But take it from a guy who is planning to host another bowl charter this year, I'm not banking on it. I'm anxious for tomorrow because I think an Iowa State vs. Notre Dame matchup in the Camping World Bowl still has a bit of life.

If not Orlando, then who knows. I still think it could be any of the other three, depending on a lot of behind the scene stuff going on that I have no clue about.

Stay tuned.

Regardless, if you're thinking about traveling, get on our email list and we'll have information out as soon as possible tomorrow afternoon regarding the trip.

Far too little controversy here ...

  3. OU's Riley should have gone undefeated (1st finished t1)
  4. oSu's Gundy produces top runner (5th finished t3)
  5. WVU's Brown rallies the troops and gets them better (8th finished 7)
  6. ISU's Campbell meets expectations (3rd finished t3)
  7. TCU's Patterson loses a ton of heartbreakers and doesn't make bowl (4th finished t6)
  8. Texas's Herman make a bowl but broadly underperforms (2nd finish t3)
  9. TxT's Wells lost his QB early (7th finish 9)
  10. Ku's has Miles to go (10th finish 10)
