NCAA Tournament Ticket Information from Iowa STate

From a release I just got...

The NCAA allocates only 450 tickets to each participating institution for the preliminary rounds of the tournament. Iowa State’s NCAA ticket allotment for the preliminary rounds will be allocated as follows:

  • Cyclone Club Members (261 tickets)
  • Iowa State Students (55 tickets)
  • Participating Student-Athlete’s Family/Guests (64 tickets)
  • Coaches’ Family and Administrative Travel Party (70 tickets)
Because of the extremely limited availability, only Cyclone Club members who are also men’s season ticketholders at the Directors level ($12,500) will be eligible for tickets (maximum four tickets). Please remember that requesting tickets does not guarantee fulfillment. Also, please note that these club levels and limits are subject to change based upon tournament site.

All tickets are based on availability and will be allocated according to your 2018 Cyclone Club giving level and priority points within the respective level. Please know based on assigned ticket locations, demand and previous history, your seats may be located in the upper bowl of the arena.

Ticket orders should be placed on Monday, March 18 between 9:00 -11:30 a.m. either in person at the Iowa State Athletics Ticket Office or by phone at (888) 478-2925, locally at (515) 294-1816. Ticket holders will be notified by 1:00 p.m. if their request cannot be fulfilled.

If tickets remain after 1:00 p.m. on March 18, they will be offered to Cyclone Club members at the Victory level ($5,000), who are also men’s basketball season ticketholders. The limit will be two (2) tickets per account and seats will be allocated based on giving level, priority points within the level and ticket availability.

All tickets must be picked up (by purchaser only - photo ID is required) at the Iowa State “Will Call” window located at the game site. More detailed pick up information will be released once available.

Fans unable to purchase tickets through Iowa State’s limited allotment should check directly with the respective host’s sites regarding availability. NCAA ticket info can be accessed by clicking here.

Keep your chip on your shoulder, play for each other, play for YOUR University and the name on the front of your jersey. Now that you have read, ban yourselves and go kick some @$$.

Furnace/AC Question

My wife and I are pretty set of moving out of our current house in about 5 years. With that being said, our Furnace and A/C work great (fingers crossed) but are ancient. What are everyone's thoughts on replacing them now compared to when we are closer to selling our house? We want the "wow" they just replace their furnace and A/C.

Carleton claims SIXTH Big 12 POW this season

I missed this yesterday when it was announced. It is her 16th time to win the award, putting her in third place all-time for the league. Only Courtney Paris and Brittney Griner have more. It should be noted that Kalani Brown (pre-season POY) has zero.

2/1 ESPN Bracketology

Latest bracketology has ISU in Salt lake city as a 5 seed in the south region. A somewhat nice draw playing houston in 2nd rd and then virginia is the #1 seed in that region. Question is would you take that seed and draw and be in the south region which means no KC for regional site or would you rather be in the Midwest region and play in KC and have a harder draw?
