Report: NCAA takes disciplinary action against five members of 2022 ISU FB staff

According to a report from ESPN, the NCAA has taken disciplinary action against five members of the 2022 football staff.

Staffers Jace Heacock, Chase Clark, Michael Dryer, Kyle Highland and Mason Williams were named in the report, alleging that more than 6,200 online wagers were made totaling $100,000 on professional and collegiate games, including men’s and women’s basketball games involving Iowa State.

Heacock is listed as Iowa State’s Director of Analytics on the athletic department’s website.

The five were named in the DCI’s investigation into sports gambling on college campuses. They faced no criminal charges.

The five acknowledged that they knowingly violated NCAA sports wagering bylaws in a negotiated resolution finalized last week, according to the report.

Each are subject to a one-year, show-cause order through April 24, 2026.
