Hakeem Butler has signed his latest NFL contract with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Butler and the Bengals’ agreed to a deal this week after the UFL offensive player of the year worked out for the team this week, according to reports from Adam Schefter.
The former Cyclone collected 45 receptions for five touchdowns during the season for the St. Louis Battlehawks, leading the UFL with 652 yards.
Butler has floated around between NFL teams and is coming off of a two-year stint with the Battlehawks, where he’s earned All-UFL honors in each season on the field.
The specifics to Butler’s deal have not yet been released.
The Bengals open their preseason slate with a matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday, August 10.
