Former Iowa State quarterback Brock Purdy and John Deere launched a new campaign Tuesday that features the Arizona native behind the wheel of a tractor, headed on a road trip to find the brand’s new ‘Chief Tractor Officer.’
The position is a real job, and would entail someone becoming the face of the brand on social media – think something similar to what Gerald Downey has done with Anhueser-Busch as ‘the Busch Guy.’
Purdy appeared on Tuesday’s episode of The Pat McAfee Show to promote the new advertising deal and had previously signed a national deal with Toyota.
