49ers’ GM says Brock Purdy is ready to go

Former Cyclone and current San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy received surgery over the off-season following the injury he was dealt in the 2023 NFC Championship Game.

Today, 49ers GM John Lynch told media members that Purdy is ready to go and will start practice on the field with the team.

After injuries sustained to both Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo, Purdy inherited the starting job for the team, and helped lead the charge to the playoffs.

There, Purdy helped lead the team the NFC championship and earned the trust of the front office to secure the starting job so long that he’s healthy going into the year.
