Iowa State hadn’t been able to host a real home dual since November due to winter storms that plagued Ames in January. When the Mountaineers came to town, Iowa State put on a show for the fans.
They defeated West Virginia 29-11 with three underclassman racking in bonus points to elevate the squad to a Big 12 win.
