The following is a press release from Iowa State Athletics Communications:

IRVING, Texas – Audi Crooks has been named the Big 12 Player of the Week for the second time this season. Crooks also earned Freshman of the Week honors, marking the first time in program history that a Cyclone has swept the conference weekly honors and the first time this season a Big 12 player has won sole possession of both awards. Her fifth and sixth weekly honors mark the most by an Iowa State freshman in program history.

Crooks led Iowa State in scoring and rebounding this week and was top five in the conference in both categories. She finished with her sixth double-double of the season and third-straight 20-point game at Houston with 25 points and 12 rebounds on 9-of-11 shooting. Against BYU, she posted 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting to go along with nine rebounds, three assists and one block. Crooks also broke Iowa State’s all-time freshman points record, bringing her total up to 476 points through 26 games. She also owns the freshman record for made field goals with 188.

Crooks leads Iowa State this season with 18.3 points per game while shooting a Division I freshman-best 58 percent from the floor. In conference play, she averages 19.9 points and 8.9 rebounds per game, the top marks by any freshman in the league.

Iowa State travels to No. 15 Kansas State on Wednesday before returning to Hilton Coliseum on Saturday for Senior Day. Tipoff in Ames is set for 1:00 p.m.
