Terukina to Join Carr at NWCA All-Star Classic

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State 125-pounder Kysen Terukina will wrestle at the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) All-Star Classic presented by Cliff Keen on Tuesday, Nov. 22 in Austin, Texas.

Terukina, ranked No. 19 nationally by InterMat, will wrestle Minnesota’s No. 4 Pat McKee in first match at the event, beginning at 7 p.m. Terukina is a late addition to the slate and will replace Arizona State’s Brandon Courtney in the 125-pound matchup.

As previously announced, No. 3 David Carr will take on Princeton’s Quincy Monday, who is ranked first at 157 pounds, in a 165-pound bout.

The NWCA All-Star Classic is back after a four-year hiatus and includes five NCAA Champions on the card. In addition, several women’s bouts are on the schedule.

The event will be streamed live on FloWrestling.
