It will be another busy weekend for Iowa State football on the recruiting trail as the program hosts over half a dozen big names to campus.
Last weekend’s visit group produced a pair of in-state commtiments and the coaching staff hopes to see similar success this weekend.
Joshua Manning and Andre Davis are the four-star prospects coming to Ames.
Manning is a 6-foot-3, 190-pound wide receiver out of Missouri who had offers from schools like Cincinnati, Stanford, and Iowa. Arkansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa State are among the contenders to land Manning.
Davis comes in as a 6-foot-4 wideout with nine total offers. He’ll visit Iowa State this weekend before seeing both Kansas State and Iowa next week.
Texas defensive lineman DK Kalu will be in town and holds offers from Big 12 schools Baylor, Kansas State, TCU, Iowa State and also one from Houston. The 6-foot-2, 270-pound recruit is rated as a three-star in 247’s composite rankings.
Idaho’s top recruit Kenyon Sadiq, a 6-foot-3 and 220-pound ATH recruit, will take visits to Iowa State this weekend and Michigan next weekend. Other contenders to land Sadiq include Boise State, Colorado, Oregon, Washington and Washingon State.
Iowa State is also battling Washington to land defensive lineman Elinneus Davis, who visited Minnesota last week and will see Washington next.
Brandon Henderson, teammate to fellow Iowa State target Paris Patterson is visiting Ames after seeing Illinois two weeks ago. Patterson said he hoped things worked out to where the pair could play together.
Edge rusher Samuel Same will see Illinois next week and tight end George Burhenn will visit Iowa after each of them spend this weekend in Ames.
