Iowa State’s opponent in the 2022 Big East-Big 12 Battle is reportedly set.
The Cyclones will host St. John’s at Hilton Coliseum on Dec. 4, according to a report from CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein. Iowa State is 2-0 in the event with wins over Seton Hall in 2019 and Creighton in 2021.
St. Jonn’s went 17-15 overall and 8-11 in the Big East this past season, this program’s third under former Missouri and Arkansas head coach Mike Anderson.
The meeting will be the second all-time between the two programs and the first since St. John’s beat Iowa State 71-47 in New York City all the way back in Dec. 1948.
