Brock Purdy invited to East-West Shrine Bowl

Iowa State quarterback Brock Purdy became the latest Cyclone to be invited to a post-season showcase game on Friday.

The fourth-year standout for the Cyclones was invited to the 2022 East-West Shrine Bowl in Las Vegas, Nev.

Purdy will end his Iowa State career holding nearly every statistical record a quarterback can hold.

Over the course of four seasons behind center, Purdy has compiled 11,966 yards passing and 80 touchdowns in a Cyclone uniform.

After winning Big 12 freshman of the year in 2018, Purdy led his school to four-straight bowl games including a win over Oregon in the 2021 Fiesta Bowl.

The East-West Shrine Bowl will kick off in Las Vegas at 7:00 p.m. CT on February 3. It can be seen live on NFL Network.
