Akron kick time set for 11 a.m.

Iowa State’s home game against Akron has been set as an 11 a.m. kickoff on Fox Sports Network. The Cyclones and Zips will square off on Sept. 22 at Jack Trice Stadium.

Akron enters this week’s game against Northwestern 1-0 following a 41-7 win over Morgan State. The Zips’ first game of the season against Nebraska was canceled due to lightning but is currently expected to be made up later in the season.

Iowa State takes on Oklahoma on Saturday in an 11 a.m. kick on ABC.
