RECRUITING: JUCO defensive back set to take official visit to ISU this weekend

Trinity Valley Community College defensive back Greg Eisworth will take an official visit to Iowa State this weekend, the 6-foot, 195-pound former three-star recruit confirmed to Cyclone Fanatic on Wednesday.

The Grand Prairie, Texas native enrolled at Ole Miss in the 2016 class, but ended up redshirting due to a hamstring injury. He’ll play this fall at Trinity Valley then will be a redshirt sophomore at his next school.

Eisworth was rated as the No. 36 safety and No. 565 prospect in the country, per 247Composite, after his prep career at South Grand Prairie High School. Other high school offers included Oklahoma, Iowa, Baylor and Texas.

Iowa State offered late last month and he’s also received offers from Houston, Colorado and Colorado State.
