Iowa State picked to finish 9th in Big 12

The Big 12 announced its preseason media poll on Wednesday and to nobody’s surprise, the Oklahoma Sooners were picked to be the league’s top team in 2016.

Iowa State was picked to finish ninth.

The Sooners picked up 24 first-place votes to earn the top spot followed by TCU, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Texas, Texas Tech, West Virginia, Kansas State and the Cyclones. Kansas was the overwhelming pick to finish last in the conference.
