Rashad Vaughn trims list again; ISU very much in the running

Five-star 2014 shooting guard Rashad Vaughn has trimmed his list yet again. This time it is down to seven and yes, Iowa State has once again made the cut.

According to ESPN, Vaughn’s list is now down to: Iowa State, Baylor, Minnesota, UNLV, Arizona, North Carolina and Kansas. According to the report, Vaughn cut Georgetown, Kentucky, UCLA and UConn from his list.

On Monday night, Travis Hines from the Ames Tribune reported that Iowa State paid Vaughn an in-home visit.

Vaughn is scheduled to officially visit Iowa State on Nov. 17, the same weekend that the Cyclones will host Michigan.

Vaughn postpones UNC visit

A semi-noteworthy development…

On Monday, Scout.com reported that Vaughn postponed his official visit to North Carolina that was supposed to go down this weekend.

According to a source, there’s no need to read anything into this postponement. North Carolina is still very much alive in Vaughn’s recruitment.
