or maybe a fumble recovery that is called back, or the far side official waves off a PI flag that could ice the game
It isn't going to help our cause but I think BYU is terrible and we are a vastly superior football team. Would still be mildly shocked if we were to lose that game.
I think we get 1 of the next 3 but man there isn't one I feel very confident in. BYU is probably the most likely but that is a tough place to travel to and they have been much better at home.
If we don’t win next week I just don’t see another win on the schedule. Really hope I’m wrong but man it’s going to be really tough
I will have a yes or no answer in 7 days 2 hours. I would have never imagined going 6-6 and losing to Ohio, Iowa and kansas
On the flip side I am going to be pissed if we lose to a bad byu team and those teams listed above kept us from a bowl .

BYU is also 5-4 and has some similar outcomes to ISU with exception to getting beat bad by TCU and WV tonight.
ISU can win but it will be two averageish teams going at it.
Unbalanced schedule already impacting things. WVU might end up 7-2 with all 7 wins against bottom 7 teams. No TX, KSU, KU or ISU.
If you ask me right now? No.
I don't think we beat K-State or Texas.
And that means next Saturday is a must win. And unless we hear that Cooper is 100% and back...

I hope we get BYU. Reality is I think 6 wins is the ceiling. It was fun thinking about possibly 7 or 8... but after watching K-State and Texas... then us... we're not there. There are pieces for the future but last night showed we have zero depth that is ready to play in the secondary. That was the most concerning thing last night other than the return in the first half of a highly conservative and predictable offense.
That part got corrected somewhat in the second half. The utter lack of any depth at safety is scary though.
And also, maybe its just the time missed due to suspension and injury but I really thought Remsburg would have been playing.

I bet you when you ran through your prediction you had at least one win from Iowa, Kansas and Ohio if not all three.
I said I would be thrilled with any bowl game with this group, if we dont get BYU i do think we finish 5-7
We should beat BYU and make a bowl game. Honestly we got Okie State at the right time of the season or we would not be in a good position. Then again maybe if we had Ohio later in the season we beat them. Either way, minus Okie State, our wins are against terrible teams. A bowl game would still be a step forward though
