Rumor was that TTU declined post season - not sure which tournament or any idea why.
You have to wonder how much longer they will keep Krista Gerlich.

In four years at TTU:
58-63 overall
20-52 in the Big 12, has never won more than 6 conference games in a season.

TTU still acts like they are in the Marsha Sharp era, and they haven't been at that level for years and will never be there again.

Not sure how many seniors they have but I'd think that sucks for them.
Agreed. Oklahoma and Indiana State on the men's side both declined the NIT. One of the commentators went on a (well deserved) rant about how unfair it was to deny the players a chance to keep playing basketball.

A rant while not having a clue as to what those particular players actually wanted to do. Maybe they were consulted and didn't want to play in a third tier tournament.

That's possible, too. I thought the NIT was still 2nd for the men.

I hate so much that we lost to them (and UCF).

Sadly this would mean the players are running things…commitment is a fast fading concept in college sports

Just ran across some musings on another forum on Iowa WBB and the portal. Didn't realize that their ESPN #58 G Aaliyah Guyton tore her ACL this winter. So did the reserve PG that was deep on their bench. Sort of puts a damper on their 2024 class in the short term. With them carrying Eva Jones, who will likely never be able to play after her tragic injuries, I think they only have one ship open.

Yep, need a one-and-done transfer portal PG.

Close to a betting pick'em for ISU vs Maryland. Did a brief look and got blocked by a bunch of sites but found one that has ISU -1.0.

Got something running that some websites don't like. Am blocked out of Big 12 WBB stats but can access everything else at big12sports.com. Weird.

I'm really looking forward to this game. Maryland is playing tough and between McDaniel and Sellers have a lot of talent in the back court. I have no idea what they're going to do to try defending Crooks. Should be a fun one.
