There may be a change in the air to a higher chance of precipitation. Seems as this is posted it will start snowing/raining.

Iowa has been in some state of drought continuously since July 2020.

The last year has been the worst of it.

Last night's rain will help. But we'll need about 10 more just like it to correct the problem.

Madison Chain was open in late February basically with a few large chunks of floating ice for a while.

Northern WI lakes are opening up. They're usually iced over until late April I think.

I remember when they said that in 2012.

Yea except 2010 and 2011 were wet. 2010 was REALLY wet. 2012 was a 1 year drought for most of Iowa.

2024 is year 3 already
