I know that since there is a football game tomorrow, this seems a little out of left field, but does anybody know where Curtis Stinson ended up, whether it be Europe or the NBDL or something else? I don't think I ever heard what he's up to.

Good question. With camps opening up I took a look last week to see if he showed up on any roster and couldn't find any news or anything in my searches.

Wikipedia has him signing recently with Košarkaški Klub Split in Croatia but the team site has nothing on him.

Next off topic question is where the heck is Otis Hill of US from?

Croatia had the famous Vlade Divac.

Wonder if Curtis family moved with him.

Alot of people bash Curtis and Will for going into the draft, namely my Iowa City friends, but you can make a good living playing overseas. IDK if Will will make the team with the Pistons or not but I don't think there is any shame in playing overseas. Best of luck to both guys.

I think both would have made a better living had they hung around 1 more year and let G-Mac teach them some fundamentals. The draft guys were saying if Blalock played like he did in the draft camps his senior year of college he would have been a lock for the 1st round in the 2007 draft. There is a HUGE difference between 2nd round and overseas money compared to 1st round money. 1st round money is garunteed multi-year multi-million salary. Second round money is not always garunteed and usually at or near the rookie minimum. Overseas ball is not what its all cracked up to be if you've ever read some of Paul Shirley's ESPN blogs.

Maybe Blalock will prove something but I think both he and Stinson would have had much better long-term financial gains by staying 1 more year. This is not me wishing both were back so we would be good, I think at times Stinson in particular hurt the team with his erratic play more than helped us. But from a basketball standpoint millions of dollars of difference between the 1st round and anything non-1st round. For 1 year of waiting it would have been worth it.
